I’d like to see next gen stats posted on the scoreboard. So when Chase catches his first bomb for a TD we can see how fast he was running on the scoreboard. We miss things like this at the stadium. Also, punt hang time. Considering PFF is next door, maybe something can be arranged.
So top speed is the stat you're most interested in?
More leaping tiger logo, less B logo. Literally anywhere in the stadium
Agree x1000. The B logo is boring
Anything tiger. The B sucks
Fuck. That. B.
this to the moon
Bell hit on JuJu 1000000x
Seeing that as an
Put up a banner of this image like the Reds did of Castellanos.
Between each play, and the quarters, and for halftime.
Honestly the best thing to do is look to your neighbor the Reds, they have a top notch fan experience. The outside of the park is bight with signs of past and current great players.
I've always said orange instead of green seats but the "Who" and "Dey" on them is just genius my friend!!!!
100% agree on the scoreboards. The Reds were the first team in MLB to have all HDR scoreboards. They're gorgeous.
Also, SELL MORE AD SPACE WITH INCREASED DIGITAL SIGNAGE!! It can/should pay for itself. Way too true about PBS - the whole concourse needs another facelift.
I'm always a sucker for monkeys riding on dogs
I second this!
And herding sheep!
Better stadium experience and maybe I'd go. The stadium is a Russian Brutalist's dream of just concrete. It should be a JUNGLE!!! Put up some fake plants and greenery!
I'd like to jump on this train. The whole place feels dull as soon as you get to the concourse
Yeah, PBS is an eye sore. Go all out with the jungle experience, I’m talking over the top, and going to a bengals game would be quite the experience
The stadium is extremely well designed. From a layout and architecture perspective, it hits on all fronts.
I've been in parking garages that were more appealing
Anything to hype the players up and feed into the enthusiasm that they have going with teamwork and communication. Does the team get input on what music is played? Anything to help get them pumped up. And obviously we would like to see a bunch of W’s this season!
Love the feedback. We constantly communicate with the players about content ideas in the stadium, including what music they want to hear. Our DJ (DJ etrayn) typically gets song suggestions for pregame warmups from the players each game.
Less about stadium experience, but I'd like the social media team and maybe some players and staff to have more interactions with fans if possible. It really would hype us up if we could get players to do an AMA on Reddit.
Your wish has been granted. Here I am.
First candidate: Chad
Give Ocho the password to Bengals Official Twitter during the games.
Or just give Ocho the account for a day.
MORE COLOR! Not just the gameday banners. Looking at/in the stadium driving across the bridge is so depressing and does NOT get folks excited for gameday or the season. Look at what FCC did. They turned on the lights on the exterior and made the interior gorgeous. I hate watching soccer and hate what they did to the residents of the West End but it even got me to smile.
Beautifying the stadium is a priority for us this season. While I can't get into the specifics of some of the things we are looking at, because a lot of it is not finalized, expect PBS to feel a lot different in 2021 and we will continue to build on that in 2022.
Yes! Make it feel like you are proud to be a bengal fan!
Great call out. Sometimes feels like a field in the middle of a parking garage.
Create an immersive “jungle” experience. Turn the concrete walls into living plant walls, pipe jungle and animal sounds through the concourse, partner with Cincy zoo to have live feeds of animals on screens, have a mist system (on hot days), give it a vibe like you’re a Tiger strutting through the jungle or even a step further create a fictional “lost civilization” vibe like you’re an Indiana Jones treasure hunter walking through the Amazon.
They could do so much with this. Theme games, food and drink specials, kid zone with jungle gym stuff.
I say make the aesthetic of the stadium more jungley. It seems to be just a concrete grey slab of a stadium
The biggest cosmetic improvement would be somewhat simple. Make PBS a freaking all out absolute over the top JUNGLE. I want to think I’m trekking through the Amazon when I get up to take a piss
This could be sick if done right
Welcome to the Jungle > Katy Perry’s Roar... please for the love of God.
So cringe that they play Katy Perry... Welcome to the Jungle is the ultimate hype up song and it fits perfectly.
Anything with OchoCinco
Definitely. I shot more than just uniform stuff when he came by back in April. We have a good chunk of content coming from him. How else do you think he got that labcoat he was walking around Cincinnati with?
How about some touchdown celebrations on the scoreboard. Give the players a 30 second spot to celebrate. Ocho style.
I’m Australian so a lot of the pre-game experience for me is lost, but a #WhoDeyFromFarAway with pics of fans showing their support from other countries. I’d love to see my kids up there in their stripes. Could add to Bengals website too as it might not be televised. I’m always surprised at how many people on reddit like to know how widespread the fan base is.
Another Aussie Bengals fan!! I too have a bunch of kids in stripes and would love to be interacting from far away somehow!
Can you talk to someone about the leaping tiger logo at mid-field?
What are some of yalls current plans?
Gotta keep some secrets for me, but you can expect some new pregame traditions. I mean, I didn't get that concrete throne built just for the uniform launch.
Being able to order food and drinks on a mobile app would be great
anything but katy perrys roar
That song, as the kids say, bangs.
I named some good ideas to make the stadium pop.
That would be a disaster. As coach Sam would say, "You don't live in Cleveland!!!!"
Ring of honor players best plays. Through out the year. Like a countdown from 17 to one. With all the best on last game of the year. With the hope that the new players finish strong.
I really love what some MLB teams do with alternate camera angles that you ~only~ see on socials.
We do this! Keep an eye on our social channels. We're always trying to feed back our best angles from the field.
A team that wins more than they lose.
Y’all should play the sexual harassment panda South Park skit whenever rapestburger takes the field
Man, some of you all nailed the ideas we're executing over the summer. I won't say who, but hopefully all of you are pleasantly surprised.
Get rid of Katie perry song “ eye of the tiger”
I agree with all the folks saying make it a cheesy jungle experience. Make it feel like a damn theme park. Why do people go to theme parks? Fun. Why do people go to football games? Fun. The cheesier the better. Just like 3 ways and coneys.
More winning would be nice, but I’ll settle for cheaper concessions.
A live bengal
Or if this isn’t doable, please put the full leaping tiger back at midfield and banish the “B”. 🙂
I remember when this was a real thing. My first memory at riverfront was seeing the tiger, I knew I was home.
My friend is the director of the big cat exhibit at the zoo so if y'all even consider this, I can give you her info to see if that would even be safe or reasonable.
At first I thought this was ridiculous, but I think you're on to something. That would get me freaking amped if I was there.
Oklahoma Drill Mascots vs. Kids
So encouraged by this even being posted
Plants. I want fake ass ferns all over the stadium. Don't care if it's cheesy.
They should bring in the interior design team that Jungle Jim's uses lol.
flying spaceships everytime the bengals score or get a turnover. Why? Because this Bengals team is going TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
How about a compromise? More flyovers work for ya?
More dogs at halftime!
I want to see the Bengals win
Can we upgrade the CGI Tiger intro? I love the concept, it is just extremely dated now.
More fantasy football/ other game highlights. I get the opinion that you should focus on the game you are at, but as someone who enjoys betting on games/fantasy I choose to not go to games sometimes since I have a better experience in the other avenues from my couch. Don’t think I’m an outlier, or that this trend will die out. Im sure others will feel this way even more once sports gambling becomes legal in Ohio soon.
I'm with you on that one, maybe not actual highlights from other games, as that could get a bit busy, but numbers would be nice. The Ohio sports betting bill is getting mucked up in the legislature so I'm not optimistic we'll have it this season, but maybe something to put on the to do list for 2022.
I’ve been to over a hundred games. I used to go back of section 342 and watch the halftime highlights on a terrible 32 inch TV above the merch stand. PBS should add a sports bar amount of TVs in 4 sections of the stadium. If somebody wants to spend $80 to go to a stadium to watch another game let them. Keeping track of your fantasy team, big play highlights, and watching other games makes me feel more connected to NFL Sundays as a whole.
I’ve always thought that the seats being green doesn’t look good on tv. It’s very obvious where people aren’t. The seats should be orange or black. The green just exaggerates an empty stadium and looks sad
I agree but I doubt they're going to shell out the money to replace them.
The Vikings had a Youtube series called 96 questions where a player would interview other players about random things - something like this would be cool.
Just win, baby.
Wins. Just wins.
Some wins would be great to see Seth.
I've always thought that nature doc footage of a successful Bengal Tiger stalking and killing its prey with a nice custom voiceover by David Attenborough would be a great thing to have around pre game or when the team is closing out a blowout win. Play it during a late commercial break when Burrow and the boys are about to run some of that victory formation after another successful hunt.
Cincinnati area musicians getting to play a set before each game and/or at half time. That would significantly show an interest by the organization in the local community. That would do a lot to highlight the scene we have in Cincinnati and could be a huge break for some really talented local artists to he exposed to potential fans they otherwise would never be able to reach.
Having local marching bands or pep bands come to play outside the stadium before the game would be a cool effect imo.
An offensive line
Good for the Bengals for getting more authentic and engaging lately. Coming on here is awesome for us fans and glad to know you guys care. My initial thoughts are have a ‘combine’ interactive place where fans and kids can get their measurables, run a 40 timed, be scouted as a lineman, RB, QB maybe make it memorable with a certificate and learn about a Bengals legend at the position. Have a bunch of throwing/kicking/catching drills and contests you can do. Adults and kids alike will be in to that. Hope this helps
Hype. 1000% Hype. Contests, giveaways, party atmosphere. This is the return of the GOAT, and the start of the new era. Loud music with a beat, harder rock and harder rap- No Katy Perry. Color everywhere, Orange Black and Jungle Green. Just do it up. Ring of honor is great, but what about the areas outside the stadium? Banners, posters, murals- Big icons represented.
I'm not even a soccer fan, but a lot of soccer stadiums/fans do this right. I know we have an endzone with passionate fans but it's nothing like the fan sections in soccer stadiums or student sections at the top universities.
If DJ E Trayne is still in charge of music you need to get rid of him. Zero hype in his music and it feels like I'm listening to a top 40 station. Get some life in there
I live for the Frisbee dog halftime show.
Keep hyping Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. Their charisma will do a lot for this team and we only go as far as they go. Celebrate what we have here.
More tiger logos, less alphabet logos. Talking merch-wise mainly, but I think its just a good rule to live by in general.
Hype videos, behind the scenes exclusive interviews that will only be shown to people at the games
More wins, thanks.
Wins. I want to see wins at PBS on gamedays in 2021.
I don't know how much input you have into the music played on game day but I'm begging you if you have any input at all please for the love of everything stop playing oldies songs that were made before most of the players were born while we're on defense.
A few things I would like:
I'm throwing this off-topic comment out there, Bengals should be putting a small amount of $$ aside each year to help tiger conservation. Not only is it the right thing to do, imagine walking around XX animal sanctuary in whatever city and seeing small signs reading "Sponsored by the Cincinnati Bengals." Set up an area within PBS discussing the Bengals' efforts, bring in a live tiger for tailgating. Discuss how so-and-so tiger is headed to XX preserve and you guys saved his ass, you get the idea.
I would like to be able to buy concessions without taking out a mortgage. Food and drink shouldn't cost more just because I'm trapped in the stadium.
What if you made it a goal to bring in regional and local artists to paint over all the ugly gray concrete. Make the place “Instagram” famous my making it an amazing colorful place for photos. It’s a win win because you’d get all that earned media…
Ooooooooof, I forgot the most important one. SKYLINE INSTEAD OF GOLD STAR!
How about popular memes with a bengals twist on the big screen every now and then
Started in 2020, looking to continue in 2021! I like a good weird, hype video.
A fucking playoff win for the first time in my life would be cool
Concessions at PBS suck. Bring in some local restauranteurs in as partners, and sell their food at reasonable prices. (Here I am thinking of local chains more along the lines of Bakersfield, taste of Belgium, mazunte, taglio/goodfellas, etc, rather than Gold Star, larosas, Montgomery Inn 🤮.)
Why can we only upvote this once?
Replace Goldstar with Skyline.
I would love to see a division winner on game days.
More mascots vs kids football at halftime.
I can tell you what I don’t want to hear…Roar by Katy Perry ever again at the stadium because that is the last song I think of to get me pumped up after a touchdown. Good song but nothing to do with NFL.
Small detail, but I'd like to hear corvette corvette playing when the Steelers come out of the tunnel
Any plans to honor former long time players? I don't have anything off the top of my mind, just curious if you guys had anything in the works.
How about a Ring of Honor? Easy-peasy. Game announcement will be coming soon.
I know this is something the stadium has done in the past, but initiating a Who Dey chant after big plays always engages fans. Not the chant we get after the touchdowns either, just the words “Who Dey”
Lol idk if mike brown wants to pay the fine that LSU does every time they play the neck chant but who knows
I always liked the Bengals prowling around Cincy hype video just before kickoff. Maybe a new updated video with some quality graphics and killer score would be really cool. Any upgrades to the sound system in the works?
Hey a cool suggestion to me would be a highlight of the history of the Bengals Paul brown stadium the players and the city.
Promoting the story and density of the dynamic franchise
I'd like to see a W :)
Jokes about the Steelers browns and ravens
Might be really hard to pull off but a graphic showing what burrow sees in first person on big plays would be awesome.
A literal Bengal tiger
A more up-to-date pregame Bengal tiger video. You know the one where the tiger slashes the opposing teams flag. Was always one of my favorite things when I was younger and has a real nostalgic feel to it.
How do you make the game experience more like the tv experience? Sitting at home I get replays and commentary and stats etc. the experience of going to a game is frankly not as good as sitting at home, from a sports perspective. How do you recreate the at-home experience at the stadium?
Make that shit look like a JUNGLE. Also build an indoor practice facility, what are you guys doin to our boys?!?
Whenever we play shitsburgh the Jumbotron should just have three letters on it the whole game: “FTS”
A super aggressive, loud and identifying third down Bengal growl. The Viking’s have the Viking horn, the Patriots have the fog horn...something that signifies everyone needs to stop what they are doing and get hyped for the next play.
Do a Fan Art Friday on Instagram/Twitter please!
Some wins would be cool
I would love to see a steelers blooper reel at any point during the game
Definitely bring back the song after we score! Love to hear that “hear that bengal growling”
The only thing I want to see is W’s
Any way to get the touchdown song to have more participation!
I don't live in Cincinnati so I don't have any input on what you guys do but I love that you guys are on this sub and active. The social media presence has been great the last two years. Keep it up.
I want a real tiger to be at the games
WINS!!!! Nothing else matters!
I'd like to see a playoff win at PBS. Please and thank you.
All fans sing the WKRP in Cincinnati theme at halftime
anything grey concrete needs to be painted, should jungle mural the whole inside walls and 360 scoreboard around whole stadium, fireworks, orange seats
I’d love to see some reconciliation with Bengals greats that left on bad terms. Carl Pickens, Corey Dillon, and Carson Palmer come to mind.
Recognize local schools and students more with academic + sports achievements, we should be celebrating these kids lives now more than ever!
We need new music for sure. I'm not cool enough to tell you what that needs to be.
How about wins?
Please get that atrocious B off the center of the field bring back the tiger
I hope you all aren’t still playing songs by Bush, Todd Rungren’a “Bang on my Drum All Day” & that “Can’t Stop the Rock” tune. Also, I think an indoor practice facility would go a long way. Finally, ditch Gold Star & get Skyline in there for the love of god.
How about winning and firing the doofus head coach if he doesn’t win more than 8 games.
An indoor practice field near the stadium, ya cheap bastids
I'll sit on the dirty ground eating plain bread and water, and still be happy if we win. Whatever is cool as long as I don't gotta make the 2 hour trip home bummed out bc we lost.
How about a win?
Get rid of the green seats, make them orange with black tiger stripes to make the whole stadium look like our helmet.
Metal please. Real metal. The NFL needs more. No more Katy Perry or country crap. These are gladiators crashing into each other deserving of as much shredding as possible. Play some damn Mastodon! Windhand! Pallbearer! DOOM it up. Be the team that intimidates the audience.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET RID OF THE DJ
Joes dick on the jumbo
I’d kind of like to see a horn installed that blares after TD’s, à la
Goal horns ala hockey?? Yes pls
Whatever you do please don't get rid of the fight song playing when we scored. Idc if it's outdated, a ton of great memories jamming to that after scores
I think you meant TDs.
😂 i second this
If you could improve the attitude of sports fans from Cincinnati it would make it more pleasant for those of us visiting from elsewhere. All I ever hear are people booing and bad-mouthing their own team. I get they've struggled, but damn! . . . Just a perspective from Columbus.
How about inviting, if they're able, a Ring of Honor member/nominee to be an honorary captain for the coin toss at each game? And have them in the new jerseys.
It would be cool to have a big screen TV by the entrance that played highlights from the year up to that game with cool music and stuff. That would get people excited about the game.
I would like to see better pre-game content. ESPN used to have this show, maybe still do- I don't have cable, called NFL matchup and they would break down tape and show what they predicted would be the integral part of the games that Sunday. Lapham is great, but his pre-game shows are just kind of meh. No offense to him at all, but I think the format needs updating. I want to hear from tape nerds and football gurus on the ins and outs of the game, not cliche "gotta win 3rd down" keys to the game. Give me 20-30 minutes of that and I'm tuning in each week. Even better if you put it on youtube so I can watch whenever I want.
This is less inside/outside the stadium, but more engagement between the Bengals and Reds would be such an awesome addition. It would be cool to have more interaction (even on social media) between the two to one extent or the other, would help bring fans of both together even more!
Anything Burrow. Never enough Burrow.
Please keep the pregame video prior to player introductions. It’s so badass
Bristol Motor Speedway ran an app through the phone that had live trivia surveys and coordinated light shows and such that was really entertaining between stages or during pre race.
Want to see more bengals graphics across the screen
How about a fan experience where we could carry the players in palanquins across the road to the practice facility?
Intense pre game workouts...Rick Ross loud af...enter the jungle, roars. Lighting strikes, Bengal Tiger climbs tree and roars back at nature, who does that? That energy, put it through and let us feel it..
How about more of the word “Cincinnati”?
