3 Year Old Rancho Shocks, Put on my 07 about 20K Miles Ago.

I put these Rancho RS9000XL Shocks on in 2018 on my 2007 Xterra. I've only put about 20K miles on since. Very disappointed in both the quality and the soft ride they provided. I do live in the Northeast, but I wash my Xterra very frequently during the winter (unlimited car wash). I put on Bilstein 5100s, so far they feel much better.

You've probably figured this out now but for anyone else, stay away from all things rancho. This is just normal crappy quality for them these days.

I've never been impressed by anything Rancho.

My 05 has had em on a lil over 2 years but 50-60k on em with alot of towing and i never have had any problems with them. You said soft ride but my gf's Silverado has a softer ride than my x. Plus mine look nothin like that

Do you have the same model rear shocks from Rancho? Also, are you still on stock leaf springs?

My front bilsteins are at 105k. I replaced the rears for longer ones but they’d might still be going too lol

“Oh honey look at these Rancho’s, and they’re more affordable in comparison!”

Yeah same. The adjustable rs9000 i think is the model. And i definitely did forget bout the added leafs which i'm sure is the real difference. The stock suspension didn't hold up enough for me so i added 3 leafs to each side. Towing on the bump stops ain't very comfortable. I do apologize and understand how you could have a soft ride. I do gotta ask, what setting are the shocks set to? Mine is on 7 or 8

Had mine at the highest setting. I did use Ranchos add a leaf too.

I'm a bit late, but about that rear sway bar...
