Been listening everyday since 2010 or 2011. Wow, ten years. So many bits.
The show has changed so much, but at the same time has stayed similar at the same time.
Time has flown by, I remember when Hawk used to chat on Facebook with listeners during the show
Since about Julyish 2015. Was very good those first few years I listened
2015ish? I remember listening live when they christened Tom Johnson as Sebastian Thunderbucket.
It must have been 2009. I remember the "chapstick and boondoggle" spat with Cowherd and Favre coming here hooked me.
That was a great listen. I miss having Star on the show when it's football season
If that was 2009, then my guess on around a decade for me seems right.. that happened a couple of years before I went from a loyal Common Man listener to the Power Trip.
Superstar was still on the show. I listened with him on for maybe 3 years, so whenever that was.
Around mid 2012 or 2013
I have some sludgeathons from back in the day and a few random shows downloaded I could upload, but what would be a good uploading site for them?
Man, I miss Sludge-a-thons. What ever happened to them? Seems like they randomly stopped one year out of the blue.
I think about 4 years ago. Our local rock station got turned into an affiliate for KFAN, been listening ever since.
It’s been close to a decade for me. I used to be a big Common Man ProgrumTM fan - back in the taste fairy days and when Star was as still one of his Friday regulars.
I started listening in 2015 when I got my first desk job. I live in the St. Louis area and love the Vikings and had an epiphany one day that I should start listening to Minneapolis sports radio instead of STL sports radio (although I also love the STL sports teams) and have been listening ever since.
How do the Minneapolis sports radio shows compare to St Louis ones?
17 days ago been a wild ride.
Ever since Rochester got an affiliate, maybe 03-04? I was big into sports talk radio at the time and was pumped when I learned of kfan being beamed into southern Minnesota.
Last year when KQ started to get boring
This was also my parents experience, except they got bored of KQ around 3 years ago and have been listening since then, or at least they listen to portions every day (usually listen live, while I always podcast the show and can’t stand listening to it live).
2004 ish. Haven't missed a minute in over 12 years at least. I was on the air when they took calls several times pre-2007.
The first time I listened was probably in 2007. I know Superstar was still on it. I started listening regularly in 2012-ish.
Started in March or April of 2016. Had moved away from MN at the time and began listening on the iHeartRadio app while working my desk job. I used to listen more and would catch from maybe 6:30 on live, then listen to the first hour after the upload later in the day. Now, I only catch an hour or so a day and very seldom go back to listen to the parts I missed.
September of 2018
Last summer. I have so much time at work to listen to podcasts I needed another daily one. I've listened to HAMS everyday since 2014
I started listening to the Power Trip regularly right after Superstar got fired in 2012. Not really related to Superstar, I just happened to find the show then. The "Oh good for you" and goat scream sound bits were popular at the time and really hooked me
Since around early 2014. My fandom of the show has grown exponentially every year and now I listen to the show every morning and never miss an after party podcast.
2012 the Monday before the Vikings player RG3 and Washington. Idk why I remember it but it was a good day
started when i moved to MN from PA in May 2011. On and off until about 2014 when i became a regular. I’ve been back on the east coast since early 2019 and i listen to the podcast every day.
When I moved to Minneapolis in 2013. At first I did not like it and thought it was your typical morning show idiots, but they slowly won me over with the bits and games.
I somewhat grew up listening based on my age and KFAN being on all the time, but became a more regular listener around 2008. Wow longer than I realized. These guys have been making me laugh for a long time. Used to mix in HAMS on 93x but that faded over the years.
I think 2004 is when I started
