I did the UF MBA online - graduating in 2014. I was a fulltime employee working 50+ hours/week. At the time I was traveling for work from Florida to Boston every two weeks. I found the MBA incredibly difficult based on time management and balancing the coursework with my job responsibilities. Honestly, it almost broke me. The 100% online program to me is harder than in-person or the working professional program because the online professors pepper you with multiple assignments and quizzes throughout the week. For example, I recall having two quizzes and a paper due every Sunday - meaning I had to read all the material and prepare for the quizzes/paper on Saturday because I was so busy at work. I was working all week, reading at home/hotels in the evenings or on airplanes, and catching up on Saturdays to have everything ready by Sunday. I was working non-stop whether it was work or school. Finals were in Gainesville on a Saturday, I'd take vacation days Thurs/Friday to cram. My personal life was nil. It was the toughest/busiest 2+ years of my life. In the end it was worth it though. That whole experience made me smarter and a much more resilient human being overall.
